Instead of traveling home for Thanksgiving, in 2009 Wak and I decided to hike. We went to Franklin and got Bilge Rat to drive us to Stecoah Gap. From there we backtracked on the AT to Cheoah Bald. The Bartram Trail starts on top. We picked a great weekend to hike a little section, but it got cold.
